5 Steps How To Improve Your Sales Process And Increase Business

This is a simple blueprint for entrepreneurs to Improve the sales process and Increase their business.

 

 

1. Prospecting or Lead generation

 

You generates leads by cold calling, or by prospecting. Maybe you have a marketing campaign. Maybe you are doing content marketing including Blog or running ads. No matter what you do, it's called prospecting or lead generation.

 

From buyer's journey, you try to get some awareness. This step is for getting attention from prospects.

 

 

2. Qualifying the leads

 

You want to qualify the leads in terms of four things. They are Needs, Time, Money, Decision Maker.

 

How strong are their needs? How urgent is this problem? Do they want to solve the problem now? or 6months from now? Do they have the resources? Do they have the budget? Can they make the decision or they have to talk to somebody else?

 

From buyer's journey, They are engaging with your product, service or your company? They want to find out little bit more. This step, they request little bit more information.

 

 

3. Demonstrating value

How do you demonstrate your value? Giving them a demo to see how your program works. Giving them a webinar or virtual training. or It can be a live event. It is to present what can you do for your prospects.

 

From buyer's journey perspective, now they are going to interest. You want to understand what buyers are going through each step if you want to close them.

 

 

4. Negotiate and Close

This step, you close your prospects. Now you consider Terms, Payment, Financing, Length of service talking about the agreement.

 

From buyer's journey perspective, now it is commitment. Here's exactly how you and I are going to do business.

 

 

5. Delivery and Fulfillment

 

Now you've closed the sales. How are you going to deliver the outcome that you promised to your clients? This step is very important because now you get referrals and this is how you get the repeat business.

 

Here's what we need to consider. The sale doesn't stop after you close. The sale starts after you close the prospect.

 

From buyer's journey perspective, it is called experience. This is a critical step because it is the result.
